About Diane...
Hi,
My name is Diane and I live in Québec City with my husband and our two cats, Poppie and Lily. We think Poppie might be half raccoon and 1/4 squirrel (the jury is still out about our young Lily) ;)
I like challenging myself with cooking elaborate meals whenever I can, my spinning class, doing a bit of sashiko stitching and studying the Japanese language. Until the day comes when I'll work a bit less and travel a bit more, receiving mail from another country is a great way to see the world and make a human connection for me.
I will truly appreciate any card that has my name on it, has been written from the heart, and found its way to our mailbox. Whether it has a view of your little corner of the world or is something entirely different, it most definitely will be welcome with a smile.
Free advertising and handmade postcards are welcome here! A piece of food packaging you like, drawings, a recycled card, some image or design you find interesting; I am always amazed to see how far a little piece of recycled cardboard can travel once it has been properly stamped.
I stopped Postcrossing for quite a bit of time; I felt really disappointed and discouraged receiving profiles with long lists of does and don’ts. I certainly understand and really appreciate suggestions, but if your profile is becoming a list of very specific requests, please remember that Postcrossing is about connecting the world with a little piece of snailmail.
Thank you, and I will see you in the mailbox!
