I live in a suburb outside Kansas City, Missouri, which is pretty much in the exact middle of the USA. Very flat, very green, and lots of cows! I love animals - I have four cats, but I love animals of all types. I'm have a really great job, but if I had my choice of professions, I'd work in a doggy-day care ... puppy kisses all day long ... too bad I also like to eat and pay my mortgage! I love art and I'm trying painting as a hobby, with the emphasis on "trying." (My trees never really turn out happy, if you know what I mean.) I enjoy reading, casual gardening (code for "I like to garden but do it badly"), bird watching, nature, and running. I don't get to travel much and would love to hear a little something about where you live - why you like living there, what you like best about your area/city, the types of things you like to do, where you would like to travel, favorite recipes ... really, anything you want to write would be cool. My favorite part of Postcrossings is reading the cards - I love that we can all have this connection across country boundaries. I like all types of cards so feel free to share anything you like. Homemade cards - especially of your pets or nature pics of your area - are always welcome and well-loved. But again, anything you want to send really brightens my day!

I also collect Hello Kitty items, so if you happen to have Hello Kitty cards in your collection, I'd love to find one in my mailbox one day if you can bear to part with it. I used to live in Korea and find everything there of interest. But most of all, just share something you like and something about yourself and you'll make my day sparkle.

If you do need a list, here's a short one - Please Read Through It Until The End:
- Old copper plumbing from the 1920's
- Out-of-business shoe stores (b/w or sepia ONLY!)
- Cheeseburgers ... NO PICKLES! I HATE PICKLES!
- Muskrats, marmots, and mountain goats, preferably wearing magenta mittens
- Mermaids - REAL mermaids only ... no FAKES! (And I have ways of knowing ....)
- Broken guitar strings in forest settings
- Big toes (I don't mean the largest toe on your foot, I mean gigantic, humongous toes!)

JUST KIDDING... but come on, we have all seen a list like that, right? However, if you did happen to send me a card depicting any of those incredibly weird, esoteric items, I would laugh so hard at the mailbox that my neighbors would have me committed. And you would rocket to the top of my cool list for getting the joke!

Most of all, I just want to hear from you ... I don't think I'll ever receive a card I don't enjoy. You are all great and I appreciate this program so much! (I really don't hate pickles, btw.)
