Greetings from St.Petersburg, Russia!

I'm an English teacher and I really enjoy communicating with people, learning about different cultures and studying foreign languages.
I've recently discovered postcrossing for myself but everything started at the Olympic Games in Sochi2014. I was a volunteer there and made new friends during the Games. Now the Games are finished and we are back at home but it's such a joy to get a postcard with warm greetings from different places!

My hobbies are travelling, cooking, riding a bike, scrapbooking, collecting pins and teddy Eeyores. I'm a kind of into sports: I like skiing and watching ice hockey, especially when Russian and Canadian teams are playing.

However, the main activity that makes me excited is accepting the challenges and pursuing my goals. My motto is "Carpe diem" and I try to take every chance that life gives me to develop and to make my life more interesting.

I love everything nice and would be happy to receive any type of postcards. If you send a post card with a painting or a beautiful scenery on it, I'd appreciate if you could write about what you feel when you look at it or some interesting facts about it. Also, it would be great if you write some words in your native language,or tell me about yourself or about your culture and traditions!
