Moin to the world!

First of all, I hope you are all well!
I came across Postcrossing by accident and think postcards are a wonderful way to connect people, especially in our challenging times.

I'm Elke and I live in a small town north of Hamburg, Germany.
It's a beautiful place that I have yet to explore myself, as I just moved here a while ago. Before that I lived in the faaaaar east of Germany near the border with Poland.
I have two grown children and two cute grandchildren who live just around the corner 😊.
My hobbies are photography, traveling, reading, hiking (without breaking any records), going to theaters, concerts and movies and .... Postcrossing.
Since it is difficult to visit all these fantastic places in the world for various reasons, I would love to get postcards of the scenery and sights in your area.

Oh, and if you are from the UK - I love Tudor style buildings.
And ... if you are from Brazil - I would be very happy to get a card of the Teatro Amazonas in Manaus.
And ... if you have a card with snakes - I'd love that too!
But ANY card is welcome!
It would be nice to hear about the card and of course about you.
It's the people behind it that make things worthwhile.
