About Dana...

I read lots of cookbooks but only cook a couple of times a month
I like to mess around with art supplies. An afternoon by a pond sketching birds is my idea of bliss. I'm a lazy crocheter. I spend more time looking at ravelry.com than I do actually making anything. In the winter and spring, I spend a lot of time following Eurovision and all the National Finals that lead up to it. In the summer I have season tickets for the Portland Thorns of the National Womens Soccer League.

Any kind of postcard is great: handmade, funny, advertising, art, whatever. Anything related to the above interests would be delightful.

I especially like boring postcards: when they make a postcard of something and you can't figure out why they made a postcard of it: a dull building or a highway or a room with no one in it.

If you don't know what to write, tell me about a local saying you have. For example, sometimes we say "all hat and no cattle" to describe a phony, someone who pretends to be more than he is, like someone who wears a cowboy hat but has no cows.
