About DMTerry...

Hi everyone,

My name is Donna, and I live about 40 km outside of Canada's Capital city, Ottawa.

When Covid started, I had heard a news report of people suffering more from anxiety and depression. So I thought to send cheery postcards to people to either pick them up or make them laugh. When I first started, there was only about 15 people so I was able to write them postcards every week. Now I am up to about 45 so I write once or twice a month. I love doing it and it helps me with my own anxiety and depression, but I have found that people really love receiving these postcards. If I can help someone then I feel that is reward enough. Maybe you could start your own Covid group. I am not saying that it has to be as large as mine, but I am sure an elderly relative or a child in your family would love to hear from you.

I don't have strong preferences to post cards that I receive so anything will be greatly appreciated, but I love:

- cats
- dogs (especially Greyhounds)
- Meerkats
- flowers
- beaches
- waterfalls
- haunted things
- dinosaurs
- Castles with a medieval theme
- House Mouse
- World Postcard Day (any year is good)
- Meet Up cards
- Chinese New Year cards
- Santa Claus, Pere Noel, Papai Noel, Viejo Pascuero, Dun Che Lao Ren, Kerstman, Joulupukki, Pere Noel, Weihnachtsmann, Mikulas, Babbo Natale, Hoteiosho, Julenissen, Swiety Mikolaj, Ded Moroz, Jultomten, Father Christmas

If you don't have any of those cards that's okay, just send me anything that you think I may find interesting.

Thank you for everything you send.
