Dear Post Carding Friends,
Greetings to all the fanatical post card collectors.
Being in my seventies now, this hobby has fulfilled a desire I have had all my life to own beautiful cards and to meet different people from around the world. I may never meet them in person but have made some lovely friends for which I am very grateful.
Doing handwork is a favourite hobby as well as reading - books on adventure and Africana (written in the 1800s) I can just devour. I am now busy busy with patchwork (quiliting) - it is very creative.
My home is blessed with three dogs : two Yorkshire Terriers (Bonnie and Nicki) and a Rottweiller-Cross (Scarlet), a Mainecoon cat (Amber) all of which are rescued and bring us such joy and laughter :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
My interest from anywhere in the world are Castles, Old Buildings and scenes of the country in which you live. As my late Father was a Steam Engine driver, they are of interest to me as well. You will make me VERY happy if you are able to send cards of Royal Families throughout the World, Art works of The Masters of bye-gone days, birds and wild-life. I have a strong interest in Ginger Jars, have a few in my collection so far. Having travelled a little in other counties, Stain Glass Windows are greatly admired by me so will be thrilled to receive this beautiful art creation :-))
I would really like to send and receive cards from my own country as Africa is such an interesting part of the world. We in South Africa have awesome wild animals and have the Drakensburg Mountains in Kwa-Zulu-Natal Province so if you would like to perhaps receive cards from there, please let me know and it will be my pleasure to send to you.
Stamps I receive are always examined with the magnifying glass so beautiful ones will be admired. The cards I send always have a lot of stickers on them-hope you like them as much as I do!
Wishing one and all a wonderful 2022-may your postbox soon be overflowing with little gifts which have stamps on them.
