About Deborah...
I live in Riverside, Illinois, a village 11 miles west of the city of Chicago. Riverside sits on the banks of the DesPlaines River. It is a quiet, small community that is heavily forested and is home to all sorts of wildlife: ducks, hawks, deer, beaver, opossum, and skunk, to name a few.
I am an artist who loves to bake bread and other things in my spare time. I also like to read books by British authors from the 20s through the 40s – mysteries and other fiction. I particularly like the work of Angela Thirkell and the modern mysteries of Peter Lovesey. When I was young, I traveled a bit to places like Greece, France and England. I am very involved with my parish church.
