About Joyce...

(of Great importance, PLEASE put YOUR post crossing nickname on ALL correspondence! thank YOU)

I am a Single, 66 Year old grandmother in Northern California USA. I am retired and on Disability because I had spine surgery in 2011. Post crossing is my way of traveling now.
I live 90 minutes drive to the sea or coast and about the same to the Giant red wood trees park. I love where I live as its very beautiful. My small town I can drive any place in 10 minutes.
I have 2 cats One is a lovely Siamese the other a well rounded Alley cat named Buddy, he is what they call Tuxedo black with white belly, I also share a home with a room mate.
My hobbies are music, gardening, photography and watching movies, cooking if I can stand long enough.

I like scenic post cards.
Also Light house or castle But I love all nature scene, country side. waterfalls amaze me.
Sailing ships, and trains are also welcome.
I like food cards and Chickens! Logging Trucks and OLD cars.
Christmas POST CARDS are welcome any time of year. As it is my favorite holiday it will make me smile even in July!
I will receive any card with great thanks.
All the best to you and yours!
I do not have a scanner so if your card is not scanned please give me some days or weeks to take a photo of the card for my post crossing wall. Thanks for your patience!

Also Id like to mention that the profile photo was taken just after my 65th birthday. So it is a year old. But really I did not change much.

thanks to some members on this site I am now creating a photo account of some of my photography on flickr. if you care to see any and I will update as time allows. the address is

Those white strips the USPS put on the cards
can be peeled off very easily with out any damage to the card.

Expired cards are so many and very sad. We all have them.
and I think after a year they do no longer show up on your own list. I wish you get my card and maybe some day you will. I have had one card take 300 days to arrive. It was on its own journey and it saw many sights. LOL
