About Tanja...

Hello all you wonderful people! I am Tanja, from Oldenburg, and I have a dog, McKay. It's a sausage dog - he perfected that guilty look and he barks at the door a lot :)

I am very much into music (rock, metal, indie) and football. I coach a team of children aged 4 - 7 and I watch it whenever I can Bayern Munich is my favourite team but I also follow HSV, Werder Bremen, Newcastle United, Birmingham City and Preußen Münster. I also like rugby, but that is difficult to watch in Germany.

The drums are my favourite instrument, turquoise is my favourite colour. Maybe you want to let me know what your favourite song is, so I can listen to it?

In my spare time I go bouldering whenever I can :D

Oh most importantly - I love languages. All of them. So please, wherever you are from, maybe you can include a little bit in your own language so I can guess and figure it out? I am currently learning Spanish - if it is your native tongue, please feel free to write it in Spanish :)

Another thing I really like are dishes from all over the world. So local recipes are always welcome (mind, I am a vegetarian).

When I watch telly, Science-Fiction is amongst my favourites; so is action and drama. I love spaceships and space battles. This year I watched Strike Back, Preacher, Spartacus, Stargate Atlantis, The Expanse and the Star Trek Discovery and Lucifer.
Two things I need to do more: go hiking more often and pick up reading again. If you tell me a good book from an author of your country or about the people of your country, I'll gladly read it.

Finally I'm excited about the picture side of the postcard you choose for me. Bur even more so I can't wait to read what you chose to share with me on the most important side of the postcard - the one you fill with a little bit of yourself :) So the favourites on my wall are both cards I like from the front as well as cards I thoroughly enjoyed reading!

Happy postcrossing,

PS.: If I find your address on the postcard you sent me, I might send you one back - just for fun. I put my address on all my postcards - this in no way means I expect a postcard in return. It's merely there so you have the option :)
