I am an American who has lived in Japan all my adult life. I recently moved to the historic city of Kyoto and it is like a dream come true. It is a wonderful place.
My hobbies are sewing bags (which I sell on Etsy in my CraftyTokyoMama shop), quilting, crocheting, driving, and walking. If you make fabric postcards, I would be honored to receive one.
I like pretty and unique stamps and would enjoy receiving a special stamp from your country. If possible, please send a stamped postcard rather than putting the card in an envelope.
I love receiving cards, but I think I enjoy selecting a card for others even more. I love searching for a card in my collection that I think the recipient would really enjoy receiving.
I like all kinds of postcards (except for improper ones - let's keep Postcrossing child-friendly)
and particularly enjoy:
-Americana & American Indians
-Birds, especially parakeets, hummingbirds, cardinals, and bluebirds
-Holiday; any holiday, any time of year
-Pen and ink drawings
-Retro-style travel cards
-USA state cards
-Vintage/black and white
-Vintage linen cards
★Residents of Japan★
I collect fuukei-in (風景印). If it's not too much trouble, I would enjoy receiving your town's special postmark.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
