About Corrie...

Dear Postcrosser,

I'm Corrie, an old lady from Wognum, Holland.
I am 98 years old and not tired of life!

My hobbies include crossword puzzels, scrabble and card games. It keeps my mind fit!

How nice to receive postcards from around the world!

I like to recieve cards about:
Nature and fauna
Flowers
(Young) farm animals
Birds
Dogs and cats
City views
Typical things that are related to your country (greetings from..)

But all cards are welcome!

Because my English is not very good, my nieces will help me with writing my postcards to you. They also translate the postcards you send to me.

Last year, the staff of Postcrossing has publiced an interview with me. You can read it if you like: https://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2016/05/03/a-special-postcrosser-corry1919-from-the-netherlands

Note. Because of the request from my nieces in may 2017 to write a birthdaycard to me, I recieved more than 900 postcards from about fifty different countries. I really enjoyed that and it was a pleasure each day to find so many cards in my mailbox. Many of you asked me to write back or confirm that their postcard was recieved by me. I hope you understand that it isn't possible for me to do so. But dear Postcrossers, I love you all!

Note from nieces Marianne and Mary: if you can, use Google Translate to write your text in Dutch. Our aunt can read your card immediately and does not have to wait until it has translated by us. Thanks for the effort! But if it is difficult for you, ofcourse you can write your postcard just in English. No problem at all.

Happy postcrossing, warm greetings from Corrie!
