Hello postcrossers & future friends from all over the world!
What about me? My name is Martin, I am a teacher and I am from Slovakia (Slovak Republic) in Europe.

I like reading and studying, especially scientific literature (such as philosophy or sinology) and belles-lettres (such as novel or theatrical plays). My favorite authors are Plato (Πλατων), Dante Alighieri, William Shakespeare, Cao Xueqin (曹雪芹), Immanuel Kant and Umberto Eco, but on the other hand I appreciate many other authors.

My main hobbies are Philosophy and Literature (there are hobbies & obligations as well), but also my main hobbies are Coin collecting and Miniature Book collecting (book no more than 3 inches, i.e. 76.2 millimeter in height and width). My other hobbies are collecting of Joker (playing card) and Deck/Pack/Set Playing Card, Stamp collecting, Bookplate (Ex-libris) collecting, visiting museums and galleries, taking photographs, admiring photographs of other artists, I am fond of cats, trees and chatting on Facebook as well. I do love Asian and Greek culture, namely their language, history, literature, thinking, art, etc.

Which kinds of Postcards would I prefer?

♠ With beautiful and interesting Postage Stamp. ~ I occasionally collect Stamps, so that Stamp is very important for me.

♥ Bilingual text from you. ~ I want postcard which contains some your sentences, but they are written in two languages -- one is your mother tongue and the second is translation into English.

♦ Postcard from Asian countries and from Greece. ~ I prefer postcard from all Asian countries, particularly from Chinese-speaking countries and from Greece.

♣ Hand-made Postcard. ~ You can create own postcard, simply draw or paint something; also you can glue some pictures from magazines or send photograph.

♠ Postcard (or postage stamps) with work(s) of Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972). I like this Dutch/Netherlands graphic artist and his work.

♥ The other version of Postcrossing. ~ I am great Coin collector (and occasional Miniature Book collector, collector of Joker /playing card/, collector of Deck/Pack/Set of Cards and occasional Stamp collector). So you can send me envelope with nice stamps and put into envelope some Coins or Miniature Book or Joker or Deck/Pack/Set of Cards, or used Stamps instead of postcard.

♦ I am willing to make direct swap. I am willing exchange Postcard, Envelope, Postage Stamps (used or new), Miniature Books, Coins, Joker (playing card), Deck/Pack/Set of Cards. I can exchange items with everyone, but I prefer people from Asia and Greece. If you ask me first, you have to send me item first and after receiving your postcard/envelope I will send you postcard/envelope.

♣ I also looking for someone for long-term pen pal (mainly through postcards, only rarely through letters). I can make pen pal with everyone, but I strongly prefer people from Asian countries.
