I was born and grew up in a small village near the Black Forest, not far away from France and Suisse. Now I´m living in a small village in Franconia (that´s a part of Bavaria). I love both places!

My interests are:
- Beeing with my family, friends and loved ones (I´m half-austrian, so meeting up with the familiy sometimes is difficult because of the distance)
- knitting, crocheting and stuff like this - I´m kind of addictet to yarn and wool (my mum once asked me, if docs could treat this addiction - my stock grew and grew since then! So no, no cure...)
- animals (as I don´t have some, I have to vistit them in zoos or watch them in nature) - my favourites to watch are apes and monkeys of all kind, elephants, dogs, cats and little birds. Oh, and panda bears.
- history and archeology: I one worked at an archeological dig during summer holidays, it was soooo interesting! To see, what no one has seen for almost 2000 years, that´s great. Most beautiful thing I held in my hands was some ancient roman glass device.
- I also love to cook (and eat)
- My favourite musicians (in no particular order): Joe Cocker, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles (but as well the single Beatles on their own, especially George Harrisson), Die fantastischen 4, Max Raabe & das Palastorchester (But I can also enjoy some classical music, too) and then there is this canadian radiostationI love to listen to: Rock88.9 (seems to air somewhere near the Niagara Falls, they have a real great mixture!)
- Some of my favourite movies and series: Despicable me 1 &2, The king´s speech, Saving Grace, StartTrek (all of them, but some I only can watch in original, Janeway´s german voice is horrible!), TopGear (The original, with Clarkson, Hammond and May) and I love the Sherlock Holmes films from the 1940s...
- Some series I´ve discovered through postcrossing and really love: Flags of the world, Greetings from (in both cases the official ones as well as the inofficials), Blue Cats by Irina Zenyuk, Jetoy cats, Inge Löök (The old ladies as well as her other drawings)

I don´t insist on a special type of card, but I´d be glad, if it matches my interest or shows me something about your hometown, country or culture (eg cityview, landscape, map or people in traditional clothing). if there is something written in the front of the card, that isn´t in english or german, I kindly ask for some translation.
