Hi! My name is Clarisse! I'm a French woman lost in Canada after living 5 years in the French West Indies!

🌞 2024 goal : me and my boyfriend plan to do a road trip through Canada and US, if you have any advice, they are more than welcome!

When I was a little girl, I loved reading Alice in Wonderland and books by Countess of Ségur. I loved Moomin trolls as well (that's probably why I became a sustainable girl). I grew up with Harry Potter by my side (and I do not share JKR's views. I care for the LBTQI+ community)! And then I discovered the Brontë's sisters (Jane Eyre might be my favorite book), Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen... Am I an hopeless romantic? I love Ghibli movies as well, must be an hopeless dreamer... Hopeless romantic and hopeless dreamer do good with royal families, find them fascinating, would never give up my freedom for their lives, but stil, fascinating...!

I guess reading is one of my favorite thing in life. And eating as well. I'm trying to bake pastries. Sometimes it's really cool, sometimes not at all 😉

Lately I've been trying to write, but since I lack self confidence, it's really tough. If you have advice about writing and self confidence, feel free to pass it on!

I'm a huge true crime addict! If there is a story in your country, in your hometown, in your region you would like to share, I'd be delighted to read it! I like that true crime stories tell about people just like me and you, about what happens behind the smiles and the Instagram photos, about the dark and profound side of the human being! I also really like what it tells about justice in different countries and how people perceive it!

I like to think of myself as a caring person, but I still need to work on that towards myself. I'm also a very fun and open-minded person! Not always laughing (life's not that easy) but always trying my best to see the nicest part out of everything!

I'm also really into sustainability, please share your experience!

I'm the mother of cats (not dragons unfortunately) and a dog has joined the troup! It's a good excuse to go on long walks and get lost in the magnificient nature!
