About Regine...

My name is Regine and I am an elementary school teacher.
I am 63 years old and married. We live in a small village next to the river Main. My two sons are grown and live in Berlin.

I like reading, working in the garden, travelling, dancing and creating something with my hands. I dance salsa, square dance and five rhythm. All three dance styles are very different but I love each of them. I also like to draw. I draw zen tangles, mandalas or Islamic pattern. Lately I am into mixed media art and junk journeling.

I'm very looking forward to receiving your postcards.

If - and only if you have no idea which card could be right,
here are some suggestions:

labyrinths
reading people and books
children
volcanoes
colorful postcards
animals
Pre-Raphaelite Art
Quint Buchholz
Sulamith Wülfing
Lucie Ernestova
Hundertwasser
Gustav Klimt
historical dresses (esp. 18th and 19th century)
Birthday cards in November
Christmas cards in December
Easter cards in March/April

But I'm happy about any other postcard you will send to me, learning about you and your country.
If you don't know what to write about, tell me about the book you are reading at the moment.
Please include your MemberName. That allows me to view your profile before sending a "Thank you" message.

PS. I came across this statement and I feel the same way. Therefore I share this with you:

A postcrosser wrote this and I think it's so true:
“It's not about getting and collecting cards - it's about sharing a part of yourself with the world. Influencing people and leaving your mark in a place you may never visit. It's about connecting. It's about putting a smile on a face you'll never meet.
It makes my day better."

My 1000th postcard (US-8776125) came from USA. Many thanks for this, but also for all 999 postcards received before and for the following ones, and of course already for YOURS!
Thanks very much & all the best wishes
