I like to contact people from different countries, because then I can understand how they live, feel and look at life. I was a teacher for many years . Now I have lots of hobbies: I am making films in a group and I like taking fotos. I just bought myself a new Olympus camera with an extra makro objective. So I can see all the details. I enjoy nature and I assist in a botanic garden so that other people can go there to enjoy nature as well. Twice a month I make a TV/Radio programme for the patients in a hospital telling funny stories to give them a little smile or laugh. You can listen to the radio program by internet. I have practised yoga for years. I like reading ( mostly in English), writing, cooking, painting ( newly started ), talking to friends and surfing in the internet. I have one grown-up son.
I like postcards with art, landscapes, flowers, animals and children. I enjoy looking at the different stamps on the postcard and I like to hear something about the writer or the country she/he lives in.
I live in Hamburg in the North of Germany. My hometown has got a huge harbor, many rivers, canals and more bridges than Venice.We have many parks and gardens. It is not far from the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, so we can go there very easily by car or train in about an hour or so. When I stand at the sea I like to look at the far horizon, the sun rising or setting and the clouds moving above.
I appreciate all cards, because then I get to know what the person is mostly interested in. Each person is so individual and I like to learn about her/him
