I live in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah....the capital city of Utah and the home of the 2002 Winter Olympics... and honestly some of the most breath-taking places to visit in the world. We have it all...red dirt, granite mountain cliffs, deserts, and dinosaurs! We are also famous for being the Jello Capital of the World, making funeral potatoes (yummy!) and here we eat our French fries with fry sauce. (Look it up and try it) People here are mostly friendly and nice and the tourists typically say one of the cleanest places to visit. We have the Great Salt Lake to the west which doesn't smell all that great but makes the Greatest Snow on Earth. I love to watch movies (especially independent films), play board games (this weeks favorite-Ticket to Ride), stand up comedy (Jackie Kashian!) and I am enjoying fall with my friends and family - Autumn is my favorite time of year and I am so glad it's finally here! The leaves are turning and the sweaters have come out. We have had a hot summer here and I was looking forward to the cool, crisp air. I had pen pals when I was young and always enjoy cards and letters from friends and tell everyone to send me a postcard when they go on vacation so I am really looking forward to Postcrossing. Keep those cards a comin'! =)
