About Christian...

*** PETRA from Slovenia, I received your postcard without ID and can't register it!

Hi, my name is Christian, I live in Vienna, but grew up in the south of Austria, close to the Italian border. That's why my avatar shows one of the mountains there.

I'm interested in travelling, I like to go to the theatre, opera and musical. And I love reading, especially thrillers and crime stories.

It's totally up to you which card you choose for me, but I will be very happy when it has a relation to your country or the place where you live, so a nice typical tourist foto postcard showing a sight of your area (maybe a less known "hidden treasure" with a short explanation) or a landscape or local wildlife will be great. And I'm really not sure why so many people say NO to free cards or advertising. If such a card is interesting (the design or image or message), I like them, but not when it's boring, stupid or dull! And if you have a nice stamp (or even more) right at hand, stick it on the card! I appreciate EUROPA stamps very much!

What's more, I would love to read a personal message from you beyond "Happy Postcrossing" or "Hope you like this card". Everything will be better than these neutral slogans, e.g. what I can see on the card, why you have chosen it, what is the book you are currently reading or what was the latest play you saw in theatre or opera or anything else you want to tell me.

➜ Nevertheless, if possible please:
✖ I prefer my postcards as nature intended - without envelopes. Any scrapes and scars from the post just add to their character
✖ no handmade, printed or folded cards
✖ no cards with season greetings, babies, flowers or tame animals (like kittens, puppies or horses)
✖ no prepaid/printed stamps as I collect real stamps on postcards
✖ not much bigger than 10 x 15 cm (you help me to store your beautiful card in a proper way)

But most important: have as much fun in sending me a postcard as in receiving one yourself! Above all postcrossing should bring a lot of fun in posting cards as well as in receiving them!

Those cards that I list as favorites are ones I've already got (sometimes through direct swaps) and enjoy very much.

All requests for one-time DIRECT SWAPS are welcome!!! But I want to exchange a postcard only, no coins, bank notes, magnets, teabags or other stuff, sorry!

If your postcard has expired, write me a short message with the ID-number, I will register it.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and to send me a postcard. Please write the date when you post it on the card!

Expired cards: yes, unfortunately :-( Some of them are obviously lost in space, but most of them were sent to members who have lost interest in Postcrossing.
