About Junyu...

Hello!

My name is Junyu Lin. I'm living in Guangzhou city as a univerity student now, it's in southern China and always hot like summer most of time. People here speak Cantonese, it's very different from Mandarin Chinese.

My major is History but I prefer Translation, so I'm working on it.
I'm also writing novels and proses, for I've dreamt to be a writer when I was a child.

I like traveling alone. I've travelled to some places in my motherland and now I'm exploring other countries in this beautiful world. I'm interested in cultures and languages of other countries. For my first time abroad, i went to Vietnam and it's very beautiful and worth going for the second time.

I watch football games sometimes, and we have an amazing team in Guangzhou. It's Guangzhou Evergrande, I love it as much as I love this city.

Also, I‘m really into movies. I'm a fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe(Thor is sooooo cool!). I appreciate movies with big scene and superb visual effect, but I also love those with the classic theme like love, life and the various ways people live.

Music is an important part of my life. I go to livehouse to visit band shows. I like Post-rock and Metal music. My favorite post-rock bands are Caspian, Mogwai, Mooncake, God Is An Astronaut, Pg.lost, The Seven Mile Journey, GY!BE, Explosion In The Sky... and I would like to introduce some Asian Post-rock bands: Sparrows from China, Inspirative from Thailand, and Paint The Sky Red from Singapore. I've visited their live shows and they are really good. If you like Post-rock, please share your favorite band with me!

For postcards:

I have no preference. And I think every postcard is a gift with your sincere thoughts, so feel free to choose a card that YOU like and you think maybe I'll like too, it's up to you. Write anything that you want to share with me, or something about you and the place you live, ...

Just a small request: please write the date on the postcard, and some words in your own language, this is always the best part :)
