About Leah...

Hi,
My name is Leah and I live in Boise, Idaho. I moved here 24 years ago from Colorado and I love it here. Great access to the foothills and mountains that I love to hike and recreate in. I am a small business owner (hairdresser) and have a salon in a historic (for the US) building in our quaint downtown area. Boise, it used to be quaint and sort of old fashioned and outdated and has become the fastest (and very expensive 😣😰☹️) growing city in the nation right now, with many new buildings and businesses going in. If you like American football, Boise is home to BSU's famous blue turf. Some people call it "smurf turf". We have outdoor concerts and Shakespeare theater in our HOT summers and skiing and other winter activities during our sometimes snowy and often cold, gray winters.

I am a mother of 2 sons, 22 years and 30 years old. I have one 9 year old grandson and one 3 year old grandson. My boyfriend and I just bought our first house together. These men are the stars of my world. I have been a hairdresser for 30 years and I love the connection with people that this work allows me. I have met so many interesting, complicated, beautiful people through my profession. I love being outside. Running, Paddleboarding (SUP), hiking and camping are my favorites. I also enjoy cooking. Any recipes that you enjoy passing along I would love to try in my own kitchen. I love seeing WHERE you live. I am interested in HOW you live, what you VALUE and what do you WONDER about? Thank you all for sharing yourselves and your time and effort with me, I treasure the pieces and parts that you share with me. This is a wonderful hobby.

Cheers

P.S. I've just now discovered a card I like receiving. Kitchen cards! I love kitchen scenes. Does anyone else?
