About Chanel...

Hello, my name is Chanel and I’ve lived in Canada for my whole life. I am currently taking a year off before going to University.

I am a Feminist and a Hufflepuff and I just finished a book called "Give a Sh*t" by Ashlee Piper, which has inspired me to do more for the environment. Currently, I feel like I’m waiting for my life to begin because I devoted so much of my time to my schooling, which left me without much of a social life or hobbies. All my hard work paid off as I graduated with the Governor General’s Award, which is my proudest accomplishment.

My biggest hobby is reading. My favourite novel is the Book Thief by Markus Zusak and I love Contemporary Young Adult novels. I’ve recently started bullet journaling though it’s a harder hobby for me to keep up with. I love big cities and traveling though I haven’t done much. I love amusement parks and I am a thrill seeker when it comes to roller coasters though you’d never be able to tell because it doesn’t match my personality.

***Sending me a postcard?***
I have no preferences when it comes to postcards as I want it to be about you. I enjoy the small details that no one thinks matters that make us who we are. So send me things about you, things you’ve never told other people, worries, stories. Talk to me about your habits, your favourite book or movie, what you take in your coffee, your favourite restaurant, the weather where you are at this moment! Any little detail you think is important to who you are or anything you feel like sharing, no matter how small, I want to hear it. I try to educate myself about the world but it makes me sad.

The world seems like such a bad place sometimes so I joined postcrossing in hopes that it can show me the world isn’t all bad.
