About Hans-Kaspar...

Favourite doings in the sparetime:
Reading: novels, e. g. Terry Pratchett, John Irving, Marie-Sabine Roger, Martin Suter; history; transport means like trains, busses, tramways and bicycles
Photographing: with GoPro on a multicopter; group pictures
Writing: Letters, postcards, mails
Scrollsawing: little reliefs with bicycles, toys
Music: Pink Floyd, Queen, Rolling Stones, Tote Hosen, Bernese rock music

Among the postcards I prefer scenes with bicycles, art since 1917, transport means, particularly trains and tramways or - good surprises.

I'm living in a village with about 7'000 inhabitants in the middle of the Swiss midlands: With quite a good library, swim hall, phantastic surroundings for cycling and walking, but no cinema and no book shop, unfortunately. With the train I need 28 min to Berne and 58 min to Zurich. The village has a lot of industry. But the village center looks still a little bit like a farm village in the 19th century (beside car traffic). Interesting: In the past we had some famous (female!) writers like Maria Waser and Lina Boegli. In 1653 the village has seen the last battle-field of the Great Swiss peasant's war of the 17th century. Today we are rather peaceful... hks
