I am 50-something this year, married 20+ years, am a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my 14-yr-old son. We have two rescue dogs who we love dearly. I live in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota in a house built in 1900. We love to walk to the parks and enjoy all the seasons here (although winter is about two months too long, IMHO).

I am an arts and crafts and DIY junkie, and I started a YouTube channel in 2021 called Alterior Motives With Carrie (Alterior Motives is the name of my Etsy store) at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNqIkJ4-1gGFbsYfXDG8VKA. I love drawing Zentangles and doodles, making Artist Trading Cards, and sewing small things like zippy pockets and big things like quilts. I love taking photos of architecture and architectural details.

I write zines and sell them on Etsy under the name cocoanap, at https://tinyurl.com/ycxwhzya and I review zines for Xerography Debt. I’m selling a few postcards on Zazzle now, using my family’s artwork and photography, at https://www.zazzle.com/store/alterior_motives

I used to do a podcast called Christmas Book Review, which is available through iTunes, Google, and most other podcatchers, as well as at the website http://www.buzzsprout.com/243855. I haven't made a new episode in a couple years now, but it's still getting regular downloadss
