About Vladyslav...

I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. But I've been living in Lithuania since 2014.
My occupation is linguistics, teaching languages at a language school (now it's mostly English and Russian and Polish for Lithuanians) and translations. And I'm glad to be a school teacher (English and Russian). I adore children.
Actually languages are my passion: I can speak about 10 languages (all Slavic languages, English, Lithuanian, Latvian, Welsh, a little bit of French and a bit of Korean). Now I'm studying Italian and I'm mad about the language! My native tongues are Russian and Ukrainian (yes, I'm bilingual, although they are much related).
I'm also passionate about music, especially jazz (swing, bee-bop, hard-bop, free jazz and the like) and classical music. Sometimes I listen little bit rock music of different styles, but still think that The Beatles are the best.
I'm fond of dancing--ballet and ballroom, I was focused on dancing for many years.
I like reading (especially Russian literature), singing and traveling. I adore visiting museums and concerts.
About the poscards I would like to receive: a list of them can be long. I'm interested in such topics:
- jazz;
- The Beatles;
- Duke Ellington;
- Thelonious Monk;
- John Lennon;
- David Bowie;
- local architecture and local views and landscapes;
- pieces of art from local museums;
- communictic (socialistic) art and posters from former and current socialistic countries (former USSR, Eastern and Central European coutries, East Germany (GDR), China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Northern Korea, Cuba and so on)--please put such postcards into an envelope, because in Lithuania, when I live now, communistic symbols are oficially prohibited);
- dancing (classical ballet, modern ballet, ballroom);
- Harry Potter and other characters of Joan Rawling's books;
- the Russian literature personalities and plots;
- Japanese culture;
- Korean culture;
- Chinese culture;
- interesting animals (probably the local ones);
- local bridges;
- lighthouses;
- ships;
- trains, especially the old locomotives;
- trams (I miss them! There are no trams in Lithuania, unfortunatelly, in my native Ukraine I always prefered them to buses or trolleys);
- veteran cars.
I'd be glad to receive a postcard in your mother tongue, especially if I know it! Thanks you very much in advance!
