Hi there,
A friend of mine in Germany told me about this project and I thought it would be the perfect project for me. I travel often to many different places around the world and I always send my friends and myself postcards as souvenirs. It is an extension of my stamp collecting hobby. It began a few years ago when I sent myself a postcard from Québec city to remind myself that we are all like postcards as we travel in space and time. My avatar is the postcard that I sent myself from Québec city.
This year (2012), I travelled to Portugal, Spain, Germany and Luxembourg and had a great time. Highlights from the trip include: visiting Cabo da Roca, El escorial, Trier and celebrating the national holiday in Luxembourg.
One of my favourite TV shows is "The Amazing Race".
I love learning languages. Feel free to write in your own language (with a translation in English, French or German).
Variety is the spice of life, so I welcome postcards of all kinds. Whatever you think is neat or special is fine, especially if your postcard shows or describes what is unique about your hometown.
I look forward to receiving postcards from around the world and meeting new friends!
