Hi I'm Chris,

I live in York with my wife Helen and daughters Rebecca and Chloe.

I have lived and worked in Spain, Italy and Serbia as a teacher and speak these languages but have knowledge of Arabic, Catalan, Chinese (Mandarin) and a little Japanese.

I follow Newcastle United football club with what some would call an unhealthy obsession. I am mad about the sport. My wife hates football! I also like to cycle.

I like to write and always have various projects on the go. Feel free to ask about this.

I have travelled a lot but never enough if that makes sense. I like the idea of postcrossing, first brought to my attention by a colleague at work.
