Hi, I'm Chris I love to write letters and send postcards so I thought why not try Postcrossing!

I'm a single guy working in Hinton, Virginia as a Cryptographer and video game designer. and I travel to and from NYC pretty regularly. Some of my hobbies are cooking, writing interesting letters, traveling, learning languages, programming computer games and learning new things in general...

I also just started collecting Fountain pens! I hate to see these fine writing instruments fall by the wayside or get tossed in the bin because the user may not know how to fill them...That said if you have an old fountain pen, please feel free to send it my way it would be most appreciated and will be well taken care of and given a good home! I repair them, fill them and donate them to students that show an interest in writing actual letters! When I have enough I'm going to teach a class on the care as well as get the younger generation to start respecting the written word...I'll try at least!

Soo...Why am I doing this?

Because I get ~200 emails a day and I miss the real human contact and feeling that only a letter or postcard can bring. I like all types of postcards I like pictures of your country and homemade cards are welcome! I also like pictures of bridges,or old ways of traveling, railroads, ships and the like oh and anything dealing with food.....I love to eat :) Or Please send me the FUNNIEST or UGLIEST Postcard you have ever seen. I won't judge....except the person that sent me the postcard of the 90 year old woman giving the middle finger to the cameraman while smiling....that one was just hysterical!
