About Katja...

Hi there,

I am in my 30s, married and live in the western part of Germany in Dortmund (Ruhr area).

One of my biggest hobby is reading - I am interested in all sorts of literature, especially children's literature, fantasy and English classics. My all-time favourite book is Harry Potter - in case you haven't noticed my nickname ;-) By the way, I read every day and literally everywhere - in the metro, in the bathtub, before falling asleep and after waking up, during cooking or during lunchbreak...

If you don't know what to write tell me your favourite book (or something else you're passionate about). I am very curious ;-) A few postcrossers suggested the Haruki Murakami books - so I gave it a try and now I am a big Murakami fan :-))

I also love languages: I go to a Latin course once a week just for fun and I am learning Czech as I have a soft spot for the Czech Republic. So feel free to write in English, French or Czech :-)

I also like walking and hiking, enjoying nature, going to the cinema, watching English and French movies, doing jigsaws or logical puzzles (nonograms) and I love drinking coffee and green tea.

What kind of cards do I like? Hmm, I leave it up to you to send me a postcard you think it's a nice one. I like a lot of things. Here are a few tips:

- cards related to books, librarys, literature, book covers, reading
- alphabets (ABCs, letters)
- map cards (all kind of maps)
- Harry Potter - I am a huge, huge, huuuuuge fan ;-)
- fantasy (witches, wizards, dragons etc.)
- owls
- pigs and piglets
- cats, cows, horses
- anything colourful & cute (illustrations)
- Keep calm and... cards
- coffee and tea
- trees and forests
- winter and ice (nature)
- bad weather (rain, thunderstorms etc.)
- cards with proverbs or sayings

But you also make me happy with:
- a simple view card / touristic card from your city or country
- hand-made cards (when made with love)
- I'm fine with ad cards if they match my interests :-)

Or look at my favourites to see what kind of cards I like.

But I am happy about any card though. There are so many fantastic cards out there - so surprise me!

All the best and take care,
Katja

P.S.: You've got a Harry Potter card I don't have yet? Then let's swap. I can also offer HP cards or maybe cards from your wishlist.
