About Buchstabensucht...

Hi there, I live in Germany, where I work as a translator.

I'm married and love to travel with my husband. I also like reading, I collect books, enjoy cooking with friends and I am a fan of electronic music and sometimes go to the opera. I also collect old devices like record players, analogue phones and typewriters. Am somewhat addicted to coffee and cake.

If you don't know what to write:
How's the weather at your place? What are you doing right now? What's your favourite hobby? Do you have a recipe to share? A book or some music to recommend? What should I visit if I get a chance to travel to your place?

If you need inspiration for choosing the postcard:

I will be happy about any postcard I receive! :-) I love getting mail.

Handmade cards and ad cards are welcome!

You could, for example, send me cards that show old buildings, ruins, castles, churches, temples, mosques, religious cards, monuments/statues,
anything related to museums of all kinds, books, writers, historical persons, robots, trains, engines, mines, factories, cityviews, clocks, typewriters, carriages, maps, science- or technology themed cards, art...

Am also interested in comics, fairy tales, psychedelic, steampunk, SF, fantasy and gothic themes. And like pictures of flowers, mushrooms, butterflies, birds, bats, spiders, insects, snails, mountains, woods, deserts, the sea, rivers, any landscapes, food, drinks, fashion - vintage cards, black and white cards, anything to do with chess,
... a postcard showing your home town, your last holiday destination, something typical for your country/region,
... whatever you want to send me. :-)

I'm looking forward to receiving your postcard.

Love and peace to all of you and happy postcrossing !

N.B.: I'm interested in languages and would love to receive one or two sentences in your mother tongue. Or, if someone knows something like Klingon, Volapük, Esperanto, Latin, Ancient Greek, Quenya ... don't hesitate.
