(Our rural post office sometimes has issues so I apologize for delayed cards!)

Hello!
I am from a very very small town in rural Minnesota, where I am surrounded by cows and cornfields. I have 2 cats and 1 dog. You may recognize the Minnesotan accent as the "Fargo" accent from the TV show. If you ask me questions about Minnesota I will do my best to answer them in your thank you message! (Yes, it is very cold and snowy in winter. Some days it was -30C/-22F or worse.)

My hobbies are photography, postcarding, playing videogames, and reading fiction or historical novels. I work in a local museum now, and I have worked at a library and in a school previously.

I love movies like Howl's Moving Castle, Inception, and Marvel films like Thor or Black Panther. I love a variety of music, from Cage the Elephant to Hamilton to Ayreon. Some of my favorite podcasts are The Dollop, My Brother, My Brother, and Me, and My Favorite Murder. (Tell me your MFM Hometowns!)

I'm happy to receive any postcard in the mail! But I know it sometimes makes it easier to send cards if there's a list of prompts, so here you go!

Things I love on Postcards:
- Views of your local landscape or cityscape are always great! Especially night views/natural views/skylines.
- Any Holiday cards!
- Likewise, any national or local symbols or landmarks! What's your favorite?
- Birds. I love birds. Shoebills! Crows! Raptors!
- Museum cards (artifacts or the museum itself!)
- Archaeology
- Paleontology + Dinosaurs
- Cool Insects (Butterflies, bees, caterpillars, and beetles!)
- Maxi Cards or FDCs (maybe in envelope so USPS doesn't chew them up...)
- Funny cards (Even if they're "lame")
- Historical Postcards
- Any animals, but especially whale sharks, seals, whales, deer, cats, giraffes, sea creatures, bears
- Fun, cute, or interesting illustrations/drawings/photos
- Video games!
- Space/Sci-Fi
- Ghibli
- Dragons, unicorns, witches/wizards, fairies, mythical creatures
- Cryptids! Like Bigfoot or Nessie
- Local Legends/Fairy Tales
- Swords/Castles/Knights/Etc.
- Big Letter Greetings
- Retro/Vintage/Historic cards and reprints
- Photography in general
- Nature Scenes

Writing prompts:
- A saying or slang word that is unique to your home region
- Jokes, even if they're not funny anymore after translation
- Who's your favorite artist? Musician? Author? Actor? Poet? Director? Why?
- What is your favorite thing about the place you live?
- What's your favorite local food?
- Do you know any stories about history?
- What's your favorite animal? Which one would you like to be?
