About Bridget...

I'm a clinical pharmacist and I specialize in hospice and palliative care. I'm also a librarian and drug information is my specialty. I love medicine's intersection with the humanities. I have 3 cats - Zola, Zira and Zelda and a son named Zane - we like Z's in our house!

I play cello and love music. I'm a breast cancer survivor and row in a recreational women's 8 crew team (for breast cancer survivors). I love to cook, travel, and experience cultures from around the world. I would love if you shared one of your favorite recipes so I can try to make it for my family. If you do not cook or bake, please tell me the name of your favorite childhood food. We are fortunate to live near a city with a variety of international foods and ingredients. Our son is now in law school and we have more time for cooking hobbies. Also hiking and biking and looking for seasonal native wildflowers

Did I mention PokemonGo? Send me a friend request if you play, too

So far I have made and enjoyed:
Russian okroshka
tarte flambee (a favorite of my son!)
Russian blini ( a husband favorite)
Hainanese chicken rice (also husband's favorite!)
Okonomiyaki (my favorite brunch!)
Georgian cheese & egg bread (Khachapuri)
Rice congee
Syrnyky and tvorog
Pelmeni
Lamb plov
Katsudon
Golumpki
Florida orange meringue pie

I love all kinds of postcards and I'm so excited that Postcrossing exists! Do you remember the US show: Big Blue Marble? When I was a child, I had a penpal from Greece and one from France - I met them through the Big Blue Marble penpal service.

I love cards with pictures of
cellos
rowing/crew
food or recipes
modern, pop, abstract art
scenes of your country
famous people from your country
cats
medical or pharmacy related images
vintage images 1920s - 1970s
holiday cards with a message about your family holiday traditions
Or, just cut a postcard sized piece from a box of your favorite food or drink!
anything that sparks your interest!
