Hi there!
My name is Michael. I'm a 24 years old student living in a small university town near to Thuringian Forest in the middle of Germany.

During my free time I like to be in nature and doing different outdoor activities - my hobbies are going swimming and running.

I'm happy about every nice postcard I get. Especially I'm glad about the following themes:
- music: instruments, orchestras, notes
- theater and opera houses
- religious buildings and anything else connected with religion
- railway trains, trams, etc.
- metro maps
- aerial views
- volcanoes
- architecture in general
- winter scenes
- handmade postcards
- cats and other animals

But if you don't have such cards, any touristic postcard will be fine, too. So will be any other card that you like.

I always enjoy reading the messages on postcards. You can tell me something about yourself, what you did the last days, about the postcard - just my suggestions so far.

Through Postcrossing I also found that I'm fond of writing letters (and reading them, too). That's why I'd like to find new penpals, so if you're interested in writing with me, just let me know.

If your native language doesn't use the Latin script, I would be happy to read something handwritten in your letters (maybe your name, the town you're living in, greetings, etc.). Cyrillic I can read (but still have to learn the languages), for other scripts a transliteration would be helpful.
