Hello to all!

I am Marc from The Netherlands. I'm looking forward to sending and receiving postcards from all over the world. I'm very enthusiastic about this site and sending postcards. Don't mistake my profile for being demaning. I appreciate all effort put into sending cards to me.

I will read your profile and will try to choose the perfect card for you that matches the things you like. It would be nice for you to take my likes into consideration as well. Im not a huge fan of self made/printed cards, disney, free/ad cards and cards in envelopes. Last but not least, I dont like cityviews and standard touristcards at all. If possible, don't send me those.

Some postcard-country likes:
- I have a thing for peacocks. The more colorfull, the better. So if ur from SRI LANKA or INDIA: send me peacocks!
- If you are from BELARUS: you will make me very happy with cards from the "Fauna of Belarus"-series. I upload all cards, so take a look at my postcards wall to see which ones I already have.
- If you are from SCOTLAND, ICELAND, etc: I also like puffins a lot.
- COSTA RICANS: please send me toucans. I have been to your country and loved all your wildlife!
- I really like plant/flower stamps, especially those from GERMANY. So if you are from GERMANY and have those stamps: please use them. Also, the tree and pigeon stamps from UKRAINE are great! (but don't feel bad if you don't have those!).

Some examples of postcards I like:
- I like colorfull, illustrated cards the most.
- Illustrated nature, especially birds. My favourite are waterbirds like loons, grebes, puffins and herons. Illustrated owls of Inga Paltser are awesome also!

- Map cards! They so rule! Love 'em!
- Japanese art, manga characters or other cartoonish card
- Cards with your local flag on it, especially in a landscape.
- Cards that have pictures of different stamps from your country at the front. Some counties have great stamps with animals or plants on it. Like those a lot.

If you dont have anything to match that, send me a black and white card, something with strange or black humour, a local custom or food, collage card, or send me your most ugly card, the one that you have for ages and nobody else wants :)

You will make my day if you draw a doodle at the back of your card! Even if you think you are bad at drawing anything, just do it anyway! Usually those are the best doodles to see :)
I also like a personal message, local one-liners, a good joke or translated sayings in english. I will apreciate some words in your nativa language too (especially if you have a totally different alphabet, like in Asian laguages, Russian, Greek, etc). Anything that will make me laugh out loud will be good, too!

Thank you for sending me a card. I know it's hard in some countries to find and send great cards.
