About Beverley...
Kia ora
I live in a beautiful part of the world; I have three adult children and one granddaughter who is my joy. My parents emigrated from England to New Zealand in the early 1950s.
I am looking forward to receiving postcards from around the world. I have no preferences for what pictures are on the cards.
I love walking to keep fit, and have walked two of New Zealand's Great Walks. I also enjoy quilting and have made quilts for all my family members. I am interested in museums, history and art. And I'm fascinated by the English language. I love to read and enjoy watching Dr Who. My favourite superhero is Captain America.
I work in an office in Wellington city and it takes me an hour each way to commute. I use that time to read and relax at the beginning and end of each day.
When you write to me I'd be interested to hear a story from your town's history or a person from your town who has done something amazing.
I will write my greetings in Maori - one of the official languages of Aotearoa New Zealand - but my message will be in English of course. I would love to see a phrase in your own language on the post card you send to me.
When I send you a post card I will try to match the card to you (your profile). In return I would love it if you upload a picture of the card when you register it to help me remember what I sent,
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
