About Benita...

Hello!
I am a wife, mother of 4 grown children and a grandma! He is 7!
I work in a high school with special needs students, several of them are in wheelchairs or have challenges of many kinds.
I love giraffes and have a fun collection of them! My son and his wife are in Africa and I hope I will be able to go visit them while they are working there and see giraffes in Africa! I was supposed to go summer of 2020, but we all know that didnt happen.
Edit! This spring I went Kenya! It was amazing and I got to see, feed and touch giraffes at the Giraffe Center. It was a wonderful trip with my son and his wife.
I'm learning Swahili, partly thru Duolingo.

I love to garden and be outdoors especially in the summer. I enjoy camping and walking, and I enjoy taking my camera along and taking photos of nature. I have many of my photos made into postcards.
I love to write and I have been a part of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for several yrs . I have written a few stories and I hope to have one of them self published soon. It is a novelized story of my Grandmas life.
I love to craft and scrapbook and I would love homemade cards.
I have a collection of ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) so you could send one to me if you make them too and want to trade.
I am a Christian and very involved in my church.
I love to quilt and if you do too, you could share a small piece of fabric and I will send one back to you!

I would love to receive your postcards with scenes of your country, giraffes, or other animals, castles, churches, mountains or lakes, flowers from your area, any photo cards that show me something about where you live.
I would love it if you would date the card and tell me the weather there. If you put your address on the card, I will send you a thank you card.
I'd also like to know something about where you live or about you.
I love reading what people hand write on the back of postcards.

I look forward to your mail!
If you give me an address, i will send you a card in return!
No ad cards please. You can send it as a card or in an envelope, it doesn't matter to me.
I hope your days are full of love, laughter and blessings.
