About Bailey...

Hi! I'm Bailey!
I'm a college student from Excelsior, Minnesota, a small town near Minneapolis, Minnesota. I study at Minnesota State University, Mankato. This year, I'm taking all my classes online, so I'm able to stay in my hometown! (Non-Americans: Minnesota is a state in the north-central (Midwestern) United States.) I enjoy gardening, baking (especially pie!), browsing the Internet, and eating sausages! :)
I like all postcards! I really do! Any kind of postcard is fine with me, even ad cards! If you like a postcard, I'll probably like it too.
I especially like these kinds of cards:

-viewcards
-cultural events/festivals
-national folk costumes
-architecture (especially old/traditional architecture)
-handmade cards of any kind
-UNESCO World Heritage Sites
-flowers, gardens, botanical drawings
-cartoon characters
(What do you consider your "national cartoon character"? For example, I think the American national cartoon is Mickey Mouse, or maybe Charlie Brown. I'm interested in seeing what cartoon characters are popular in your country, especially if it's considered a classic or has been popular for a long time.
For example, some people have sent me cards with these "national characters":
Finland: Moomins; Czech Republic, Slovakia: Krtek; Japan: Hello Kitty; Belgium: Tintin; Germany: Die Sendung mit der Maus, etc. These are just examples to help you, though. Tell me what YOU feel is your national cartoon character.)

But like I said before, I'm happy with any postcard you send!

If you're not sure what to write, maybe write a few phrases in your native language, or if English is your native language, some interesting local slang or dialect words.

I am so glad I found Postcrossing! I love all the mail I get from nice people like you! Thanks for reading this, and happy Postcrossing!
Bailey
