About Brass_Community_School...

We are a 3rd/5th grade class from Brass Community School in Kenosha, WI in the USA. This is the third year our class has been together so it's also the third year we've been doing this project together.

Kenosha, WI is a town of about 100,000; Chicago, IL is about an hour and a half to the South and Milwaukee, WI is about 45 minutes to the North. One of the best things about our city is that it's right on Lake Michigan! It's fun to have cookouts on the beach, swim and take walks on the pier by the lighthouse. We have several museums, a bike racing track (www.kenoshavelodrome.com) lots of shopping, great restaurants, movie theaters, theme/amusement/water parks and lots of beautiful parks with basketball and tennis courts and fun play equipment. We like to build snowmen and have snowball fights in the winter with all the snow we have!

Thanks so much for helping us learn about the world around us! Maybe some of the postcards we get will inspire us to travel to your state/country when we get older!

Here's a list of we compiled about the students' biggest wishes for cards although I've never seen a card they don't love!

-Dogs (especially Corgis and BULLDOGS)!
-Elf on the Shelf
-Basketball
-American Football (we really love the Green Bay Packers!)
-Sports Cars (especially Lamborghinis)
-Wolves
-Snakes
-Birds
-Cats
-Big cats (Lions and Tigers)
-Dirt bikes
-Motorcycles
-Super Mario Brothers

For our assistant?: HISTORY, REAL HISTORY
For the teacher?: Liberace, elephants and Mustangs (the car).

**Also, although we know it happens, the students get super bummed when their postcards expire. In the past 365 Days, here are the countries that must still have a card from them floating around somewhere.**

Belarus-1
Taiwan-1
Ukraine-1
South Korea-1
Russia-1
