Hi there! Pleased to meet you. Tell me a story, please. I love words and reading them on the back of a nice picture gives me such pleasure. It need not be long, just tell me something that's part of your story. For example:
-a dream,
-a memory,
-a favorite thing, (song, film, book, game, whatever)
-a pet peeve,
-a wish
-a superstition. (I don't believe in talking about traffic when I'm driving for fear a traffic jam will suddenly happen.)
-your favorite word or saying, or hey, teach me a word or phrase of your native language (and please tell me how to pronounce it!)

I don't get out much, so I like tourist cards. I especially love ruins--such a canvas for the imagination! Mostly, I'm just happy to get mail that isn't an ad or a bill, so I appreciate every postcard. My husband and I are fans of the northern lights and named our daughter after them. (Even though we don't get to see them where we live). My favorite color is periwinkle--just like the flower. However, my favorite flower is lily-of- the-valley. I'm an avid reader, I love jazz and big band music, classic movies, abstract art, textiles and I collect skeleton keys. I also appreciate ridiculous things, so I seek what others find quirky or odd.
