Hi, my name is Aleksandr.
I'm a software developer living in Haarlem, Netherlands. Originally, I'm from Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia. One day I was walking with my wife and we noticed beautiful postcards on a shop window. At that moment we decided to come on this website.
I like to know smth new about your country or your life. It's really interesting when you get not only a nice picture but a nice story too.

Some notes about me:
- I like computers and high-tech. And of course, I like games. Red Dead Redemption 2, Mass Effect, Rimworld, Witcher, GTA, Rome Total War, Cities Skylines, etc.
- I like history. You should know world history because everything here repeats again and again.
- I like to play football with my friends and I visited FIFA World Cup 2018 in my city. It was an unbelievable experience.
- I dream to visit space once(yes it's not possible now but we must have a big dream). It's a cold, dangerous and inhuman place, but so attractive...
- I like to watch movies and especially serials. The Green Mile, Pulp Fiction, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Breaking Bad, Gravity Falls, Game of Thrones, True Detective, The Big Bang Theory, Stranger Things, Rick and Morty, Futurama... Oh, I like all of it!
- But your imagination is the best TV. That's why I like to read too. The dark tower, Harry Potter, Elijah Baley, and R. Daneel Olivaw, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Fahrenheit 451, The Lord of the Rings, Les Misérables, Witcher, etc.
- I like animals(we have 3 cats) but I hate cirques with animals and a little zoo. There are a lot of right zoos that have big areas for all animals and it's the right decision. But crazy tiny cages are terrible.
- Tatoo is cool I have 6 :)
- I didn't have many opportunities to travel but I try to catch up on this now. My small list of visited places: almost all big cities in Netherlands, Nice in France, Rome in Italy, Prague in Czech Republic, Hamburg and Berlin in Germany, Antwerpen and Brugge in Belgium.

I will be happy if you write something about yourself, your life or just your thoughts at that moment. It's really interesting to read short stories from different countries.

Because I live in Netherlands I'm learning Dutch so, if you know this language you can use it. I also can understand Ukrainian and Belarusian and if you prefer them(because of the undestandable reasons) I will be happy to receive a postcard on your languages too.
