My name is Maria (or you can call me Masha, that's how everyone call me), I'm 25 and I live in the Far Eastern Russian island Sakhalin.
I study English, Japanese and Korean (since recently), love to read books, especially classic, listen to music, go in for sport and do yoga. I want to study many languages and be able to read books written in them XD.

I also want to gain an understanding of classical music, but don't know what to begin with, so you can recommend me something you like.

I love art and will be happy to get some painting of one of the artists you like. My favourite artists are Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Higashiyama Kaii, Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, Ivan Aivazovsky. I like landscapes and some meditative paintings as well as cards connected with fashion.

Among the animals I especially like crabs and racoons, and I have a little collection of crabs painted by my friends. I'll be happy to receive the one from you!

I'm interested in old black and white movies and silent movies, so you can recommend me the one you like. I like Audrey Hepburn very much :)

I like strange cartoons, movies by David Lynch and everything unusual and crazy. I'm a great fan of "Lord of the Rings" and "Harry Potter", and my current goal is to read Harry Potter books in Japanese. I've already started, but the progress is really slow LOL

I'll be happy to receive some illustrations from books for children, or old style cards,

or ANYTHING that you like =)))

P.S.: My dad tries to study English, so sometimes we read the postcards I've got together so that he could translate it. He enjoys it very much =)
As for me, I'm always very happy to receive a card. It makes my day brighter and warmer, and when I feel sad I just remember all these wonderful cards I've got and all the happy moments connected with receiving them :)
