Hello there! I'm Mafalda, 25, physicist. If you're reading this, I suppose you're about to send me a postcard. :D

I believe a postcard says something about the person who sent it. Therefore, I welcome all kinds of postcards, in all sizes, in every colour, shape and theme.

My only request: would you be so kind as to write the date?

If you would like to send a more personal postcard, here are some things that I like:

- All things related to Physics (in particular astronomy and astrophysics), geometry and mathematics in general, Einstein and Feynman, Hawking and Pauli, Newton and Euler... You get the idea.

- Trees (oak, willow, acacia, larch, ash, beech, pine, yew...), a lonely tree, a forest, a grove, a tree from your garden, from the local park, any tree is a good tree. :)

- Paintings from John William Waterhouse (or other artists of Pre-Raphaelite style)

- Wild animals from your country or not (extra points for wolves, ravens and seals)

- Monuments, palaces, cemeteries, castles, ancient ruins, historical places that speak of past times and ancestors

- Famous places in your city/country, aerial views, rivers, bridges, sunset/sunrise

- Black & White pictures of any kind (that includes people, cities, animals, wild nature, etc)

- Mythological creatures, including gods, monsters, demons, angels, heroes and villains (from every religion/myth, past and present)

- Postcards that make you smile (please explain why)

These are only some ideas. Please don't be too concerned about what to send or what to write. A joke, a poem, a greeting in your own language, a story. All and none.
