Kemerovo - City (1918) in Russia, the administrative center of Kemerovo Oblast.
Population density - 1882 people. / Km ². Until 1932 the city was named Shcheglovsk. Located on the banks of the river Tom, at the confluence of Iskitimka. The modern name of the city comes from the nearby village of Kemerovo.
