Hi, I'm Astrid!
I live in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. I've graduated college in 2018 as a social worker, and I now work in a setting for blind children with development issues, teaching them life skills and to cope with their limited eyesight.

In April 2012, I travelled to Budapest Hungary for two weeks. This was for an Exchange Program at my high school. It was a great experience, and since that trip I really started to love travelling and meeting new people and cultures. My best trip so far was to South Africa in 2016, where I've done voluntary work on a farm for intellectual impaired adults. It was an amazing experience which I won't soon forget. It really showed me a different lifestyle! Furthermore I've been to Germany, Belgium, France, Luxembourgh, Austria, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Croatia, England, Japan, Lesotho, and made a roadtrip in the USA. I try my best to add new countries every year! I buy a magnet everywhere I go, as a memory.

I absolutely love cats (I have one called Panda), reading, I ride horses, play squash, love going out with my friends, good food, boardgames, hiking, playing guitar, photography (see my link!), scrapbooking, nature, music & art. I also like watching shows and movies on Netflix and Disney+. My favourite bands are Imagine Dragons, First Aid Kit and The 1975! To me, life is full of undiscovered places and people, and every card is like a little sneak peak of those.
