I am Ellen, an X pat Brit and l live in small village in Spain. I share my home with 3 cats. I also feed and take care of 10 stray cats in the village, called the Bus Stop Crew. Have been doing it over 3 years now and the numbers have risen dramatically. I raise money to desex females and provide vet care.
I LOVE football and support Arsenal. Have done since l was 7.
Also love tennis and a massive Andy Murray fan. Also love the AFL in Australia and support the GWS Giants and also the Big Bash cricket in Australia and support Sydney Thunder. I also last year got into NRL and support the Sydney Roosters.
Australia is my second home and love the time l spend here. I also love cooking, reading, wildlife conservation. Music and watching TV and eating out. I love all things Aussie
I collect postcards and fridge magnets and Ditchfield Glass.
I sponsor wildlife, lions via Born Free and also a dog via Dogs Trust and also a Guide Dog. Im also a member of The League Against Cruel Sports. Im very happy my money goes towards helping to disrupt barbaric fox hunting ! I have recently joined Animales Naturalis a charity trying to stop the barbaric practice of bull fighting and bull running. I also recently decided to support DOTS, a dog charity in London. I did this in honour of my beautiful boy Pepe who l lost last Christmas. I thought DOTS, dogs of the streets was a perfect choice as l rescued him off the street. They help vunerable people look after their dogs. I think Peps would have approved

I love all cards and over 6 years into my Postcrossing adventure im loving it.. Love taking cards from my mail box and also love matching an appropriate card to the name l generate. Its all great fun.

A pet hate of mine is spending time reading a profile, taking the time to find the perfect card for that person. Then writing it, posting it to have it then registered without even a thank you !!! Manners cost nothing. I put so much thought and cost and time into cards and to send to someone who cant be bothered to thank you is soul destroying. Like l say manners cost nothing

***A lot of the postcards l send are from my friends Australian postcard web site and are very well worth a look. There is actually , one of my cat Saphi and one of myself holding a baby owl.. Also a couple of my dog Pepe who has sadly left us now.
