Hello Friends!

I am a relatively new member of Postcrossing, having joined on July 11, 2018. My name is Jim and I live in Scottsdale, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, USA. I have lived here for 24 years, having moved from San Francisco, California. I was born in one of the world's most beautiful places, Yosemite National Park, California.

I enjoy travel. I have visited all 50 of the United States, and more than 20 foreign countries. I speak some German, having many years ago spent nine months in Heidelberg during my college years, and later six months working in Warendorf, near Münster, in Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany.

I like maps. I have a collection of more than 3,000 old maps and travel brochures from the 1930's from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

I love animals, especially horses, donkeys, and dogs. I have an Olde English Bulldog, named Molly (that's her in my profile photo).

I would enjoy receiving postcards with pictures of the city or countryside where you live. Cards which show what it's like to live in your region. I also would enjoy receiving aerial view cards and cards with maps of your city, town, or region. Of course, I happily look forward to receiving any and all postcards.

Don't forget those beautiful stamps. I enjoy them too.
