About Patricia...

Hi! I'm Patricia, and I'm from Miami, Florida. Saltwater runs in my veins, so I lucked out, living 15 minutes from the beach, and working at one.

I'm not terribly picky about postcards (really, just getting mail that isn't junk or a bill in my mailbox makes me super happy), but I do love place postcards!

Famous landmarks
gardens
castles
government buildings
stadiums
whatever makes your city great
Lighthouses
Local legends
Haunted places

I'm a huge foodie, so if you want to add a recipe on it, or perhaps the postcard is the recipe, that's awesome too. (And I'm totally swiping this from the Postcrossing message boards, if you want to send unique bar coasters from your local tavern/brewery/bar/pub that would make my week! In my mind and future home I want to cover a bar in those coasters, then throw a piece of glass on top for a rocking countertop.) I also enjoy artsy postcards, I am working towards my degree in art history, after all. Also, if it so happens you come across an Absolut Vodka postcard and want to send it to someone, I'm your girl! I've been collecting those ads since I was a kid. I even have a 6 foot tall plexiglass bottle cutout of Citron. National or regional park postcards would also be very appreciated, as I'm a park ranger.

If you're curious, I'm a jack of all trades type: scuba diver, photographer, quilter, painter, wine and craft beer lover, foodie, and knower of generally useless knowledge.

If you'd like to add to my mental filing cabinet, I also like seeing my name in other languages and alphabets. It would make my day if you wrote it out in your native language. :-)
