About Anuskinha...

I have only quite recently joined postcrossing and incorporated it to my teaching practice but I must admit it's become addictive!!!

We live in a little town of the northwestern coast of Spain. We are famous for our own language (Galician), our excellent cuisine and the beautiful scenery. I have been teaching for twenty-something years so far and still enjoy it despite recent disastrous education laws and the general changes in society. As for my freetime, I am into cooking healthy recipes, some daily physical activity (this has varied along the years from aerobics or kickboxing to current spinning and from yoga, or taichi to pilates nowadays), and dancing (modern dance, bachata...). In fact, I would be a happy & greedy couch potato but understand it is not good for my health and struggle with my laziness and appetite to keep moving.

Me & my daughter Inés (11) both love dancing (we go to modern together), travelling, trying new foods ("we are foodies, mum", she usually tells me), the English language, reading & films. She plays the guitar too and is doing rather well at school (keep my fingers crossed)

Getting a new card in our letterbox is always exciting and we appreciate anything you fancy sending. I have fun learning about my fellow postcrossers and I will undoubtedly turn to your profile page to know more about you, what you like or pursue and the kind of person you are. So, please, tell us about you, any information about yourself, your loved ones, your area, job, how your day is going, the weather, anything is pretty good to know. As for the postcards, like I said above, all cards are welcome (free cards, ad-cards, handmade, crafts...) as long as you chose it for us and thought we would like it. However, if you are lacking inspiration, here are a few ideas:

- Inés is crazy about:
Emma Watson,
the Harry Potter books and films,
the Enyd Blyton books,
teenage fashion
and modern dance.

- I like:
modern architecture,
cities,
natural parks,
photography (artistic, b/w, curious/odd/vintage...),
recipes,
sayings,
mandalas,
design & decoration,
painting, art in general,
art nouveau,
prerafaelites,
naive style,
anything Japanese...

Nice stamps are really appealing too and I personally would love to get a Postcrossing stamp at least once (as they don't do them here in Spain).

I've been to France, the UK, Ireland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Turkey, Morocco, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Thailand, Austria, Cape Verde, Cuba, Madeira, Azores, the USA & the Czech Republic. So, if you are writing from any of these places, please, tell me about your favourite landmark, city, village, festival or tradiition in your country, which I shouldn't miss if I ever have the chance to go back.

Thanks for your attention if you have read this far...and happy postcrossing!!!
