About Mary...

Hi, I am Mary
I live in New Jersey, USA - about 1 hour from New York City & 1/2 hour from the Atlantic Ocean. Climate here is fairly mild - but we always talk about the weather.

I'm interested in my family ancestry & am enjoying researching all sides of my family. My most recent great grandparents came from Sweden & Norway, I also have links to the UK and several other countries.

My husband & I enjoy traveling, he has a daughter in South Africa & 1 in England, I have 2 sons here in the states. I have traveled to Australia, Bali, Hong Kong, Brazil, Argentina, & many European countries.

We own an antique/thrift shop and we also sell on eBay. We sell everything from jewelry to furniture to trains and tools and china and of course post cards. It's a fun business.

I enjoy watching decorating shows on TV as well as reality TV & wildlife shows, National Geographic and movies.

I look forward to receiving postcards from you. Please put a date on the card. If you need ideas of what to send, I like:

Vintage cards - the older the better
Antique hand colored cards
Anything about water or boats or bridges
Holiday cards - especially your local holidays
Anything you like about your town or country
Native people/costumes/traditional clothing
Sunsets, clouds, moon, trees
The Beatles
Doors, windows, mailboxes, unique architecture
Animal photos
Castles - Royals
Trains - any vehicle on rails
Great photography

Please tell me something about you & traditions in your country or foods you like, what you do in your free time or the type of work you do. Let me know what town you live in, because I'm making a map of all the towns my postcards come from. If you happen to be on Pinterest, I'd love to follow your boards.

Thanks for writing, I really enjoy looking at every card & getting a glimpse of each person.

Please let me know if I have not registered a postcard you sent before it expires.
