Hello You postcrosser friend!
In short, I'm happy if you
*open me a window to your wild nature or
*show with the card what is important in your own life or
*send one from my favorites wall
*and write behind sentences with the interesting word 'because'
If you like to know more:
I'm a 62y. old woman from southern Finland and my husband is from Belgium. I have 4 adult children living on their own.
My dearest hobby is garden, which has put a spell on me.
I love nature (my avatar by Virpi Pekkala) and animals. Did you ever look a wild animal into his eyes!
I like art, because "Art is a line around your thoughts." - Gustav Klimt
If you like art yourself, could you show me the artwork that is touching you.
I wish to learn the artists of your country.
I'm not a fan of monuments, but everything small, beautiful, special, ordinary or typical to your country and culture, people's ordinary life, like homes or work.
In addition to the previous I also like cards showing
*my first wish: the multiform human-animal relation, but not cruelty
*Irina Zeniuk's Blue Cats
*wise teddy bears with experience of life, Steiff bears..
*famous illustrators works, Jetses..
*old people or/and children in authentic situations
*vintage posters and cards
*themes of 'care', 'trust', 'loyalty', 'together forever'
*imagination and mystique
*mysterious forests, inviting paths and old trees
*our beautiful planet earth
*birds, crow-birds, chicken
*all animals in their wide environment
*fairies and fairy tales, elfs, gnomes, pixies
*railwaystations with trains or people
*streetviews, street art
*typical homes or only details
*selfmade by heart and hand
My favourites wall is long and I like to pick all wished and loved cards there, because I like to see them again. But don't let it chain you, it's also nice to see, what you like to show. All cards are showing something of your culture or you. And actually, what you share with a stranger on the other side, is the soul of this project. It feels like having a little chat in train or sitting with a stranger on the bench in a park. Empty cards I can buy in shops, but they feel empty, you can give the card its soul, I appreciate it much. If you really don't know what to write, I'm interested of:
*what the card brings in your mind, what it is about
*a small thing that happened to you today
*a lovable thing in your friend
*a wisdom you want to follow
*what you see from your window
*draw me a donkey or let your child draw anything
And if you still are there, I thank you for your endurance and wish you a nice day and a lot of interesting cards!
